Rabobank's General Members' Council has appointed Miriam van Dongen as a member of the Supervisory Board. She took office on 25 September 2024.
Miriam van Dongen studied Business Economics at Tilburg University. Subsequently, she held various financial and executive positions. Miriam has been a professional supervisor since 2009 and has held various supervisory positions. She has a lot of experience and knowledge of working in cooperatives such as Zilveren Kruis and Achmea. Miriam has a focus on and a background in the financial sector and is skilled in finance, risk, M&A and corporate finance. She has extensive relevant experience as an executive and non-executive director in the areas of audit and finance, governance and board dynamics.
Expertise as a supervisor
Marjan Trompetter, Chair of the Supervisory Board, is convinced that the appointment of Miriam van Dongen brings additional expertise to the Supervisory Board.
