"It strikes me that little is known about what is involved in running a hospitality business. There are lots of parties that only offer part of the solution and afterwards the entrepreneur is faced with lots of costs that were not anticipated. So you have the purchase of hardware, such as the kiosk, a TV screen, a printing machine for the kiosk receipts, but then you are not there yet. The orders have to be shared with the work screen in the kitchen so the cooks know what to make and this has to converge with the orders at the till. These kinds of links require several plug-ins. This is just part of the costs an SME in the hospitality industry faces."

According to Jan, modern business operations require proper integration of technology: "(HaaS) Hardware as a Service for hardware, (SaaS) Software as a Service for software, and(CaaS) Connectivity as a Service for connectivity are essential for a stable, cloud-based environment.
