Youth workspace KomVorm! A workspace for school dropouts

10 February 2025 16:31

KomVorm! is an inspiring place for "Pioneers" (school dropouts) and "Explorers" (youth interested in technology and creativity). With an increasing number of young people struggling or leaving school prematurely, the KomVorm! focuses on high school students who are at home or at risk of dropping out. In this workspace, teenagers receive coaching and guidance in their creative or technical development.

KomVorm! provides an environment where young people with technical and/or creative interests can explore and develop without performance pressure. Here, they can follow their own interests and are given the tools to bring their ideas to life. There is no dependence on assessments or fixed plans; there is room for personal insights and growth, with a focus on coaching and guidance.

The goal of KomVorm! is to inspire young people to engage with technology and creativity through self-discovery, company visits, and assignments related to these companies. This way, a bridge is built between young people and businesses, giving them a clear view of the opportunities available.

Cooperative Impact Award

The project has received financial support from Rabobank and has won one of the three national Cooperative Impact Awards from Rabobank. Along with a physical award, the winners received a financial contribution of €12,500 to make an even greater impact. This project requires significant investments in machinery, materials, and guidance. The additional financial support ensures that they can expand their efforts and support even more young people.
