Call for Loan Proposals: Investing in climate smart agriculture in Indonesia and Vietnam
Rabo Foundation invites applications for financial support from qualifying organizations. As a provider of impact funding, we operate worldwide to achieve continuous positive economic, environmental and social impact. We offer organizations that work with smallholder farmers in emerging economies access to finance, knowledge and a network, to increase farmers’ self-sufficiency and ability to produce more sustainably.

What we offer
Access to finance
Rabo Foundation offers two types of financing instruments for loan amounts between EUR 400,000 to EUR 1,000,000 in EUR or local currency in form of:
Access to knowledge
We share our knowledge and call on experts to provide Technical Assistance (TA) for capacity building purposes. The insights support organizations to improve their business and impact performance. In this call for proposals TA products are not provided in isolation and only coupled with a funding facility under strict conditions.
Access to networks
We connect with other financiers, sales markets and technical experts. In this way we work together to strengthen the value chain.
Access to innovative solutions
We work together with innovative partners, such as agtech and fintech companies. This gives organizations access to data-driven products and services that enables them to make better choices. In addition, farmers build a digital track record and gain access to tailored services. An in-house team of innovation specialists provide knowledge, and funding related to the development and scaling of agriculture-related digital solutions.

Call for Loan Proposal
Do you fulfil these criteria and believe that RF funding can help you making your value chain shorter and working more climate-smart, and/or including the application of technology. Please fill in the loan application form and the financial projections form following the instructions provided therewith. The more impactful and innovative your proposal is, the higher the chances that your proposal will receive funding to make a difference. You are requested to submit your proposal and all supporting documentation no later than March 31, 2024.
