Bizcuit makes business easier with a single app for all your financial issues
Giving entrepreneurs control over their money, without wasting time on administration; that’s Bizcuit’s mission. It makes doing business easier, thanks to links between banks and bookkeeping software packages in a single platform. CEO and founder Hessel Kuik: “We embed services offered by third parties, which ties in to a global trend.”
What is Bizcuit?
“You could describe Bizcuit as a financial assistant in the entrepreneur’s pocket. It’s an app that watches over the entrepreneur’s shoulder and takes a lot of work out of their hands. The user receives targeted notifications if there’s something they should know, like a potential cashflow shortage. And Bizcuit offers an immediate solution, such as pre-financing unpaid invoices. Thanks to Bizcuit, the entrepreneur doesn’t have to worry about everyday issues, like paying invoices. That way, they can truly focus on doing business.”
How does it work?
“We combine all the tools an entrepreneur needs to manage a company in a single platform. Things like paying invoices, expense claims, taxes and payroll. To do that, we created online links to all Dutch banks, ERP, payroll and bookkeeping packages. There are a lot of excellent services available for entrepreneurs, but they’re often scattered somewhere on the Internet. With a variety of links to specialist parties, the entrepreneur can not only find these services easily, but also use them immediately at the time and place they need it. And they don’t have to keep logging in to separate banking environments or bookkeeping packages, for example. Since the entrepreneur’s details are already available within the platform, things like applying for a loan from the bookkeeping package are a piece of cake. For example, we’ve had a world premiere with Rabobank’s Embedded Lending: an entrepreneur can immediately see how much financing they qualify for, with a few clicks they can apply for the loan with Rabobank online, and they’ll have the money in their account within 24 hours.”

What are the benefits for the entrepreneur?
“They can run their business from a single app, because it combines all of the financial services. The entrepreneur can easily pay invoices from the Bizcuit app, for example, without having to type in all kinds of details. The app also digitizes documents and receipts, so everything’s stored in a single environment and the administration is always in order. That gives the entrepreneur insight into all their transactions, all the time. Plus, the data are automatically sent to the bookkeeper or a linked bookkeeping package.”
What are your strong points?
“We always put the entrepreneur’s interests first. We make everything the entrepreneur needs available on our platform. To do that, we work together with a variety of partners. We don’t issue loans ourself, for example, but we do embed third parties’ financing options. That allows us to adapt to a global trend.”
How will Bizcuit continue to develop in the future?
“Our goal is to grow to become the best entrepreneurial platform in Europe over the next few years. To do that, we’re constantly developing and adding new services. Things like insurance policies or mobility services. There are a variety of parties that offer partial solutions, but there aren’t any providers who combine all of the services relevant to entrepreneurs in a single platform. So we’ll continue to add value for entrepreneurs. And our strategic partners like Rabobank play a key role in that!”
